THE OFFICIAL ARTIST STORY

RALLY BOP

JAMAICAN ROOTS. BRONX ENERGY. DANCEHALL TRAP.

Born Rohan Wilson in Linstead, St. Catherine, Jamaica, Rally Bop, also known as Trap Shotta Rally, is an independent recording artist whose musical journey bridges Jamaican dancehall and American hip-hop. After migrating to New York at age eleven, he developed his musical identity in the Bronx, drawing inspiration from his uncles' Jamaican sound system and the powerful influence of hip-hop and trap music. Blending these traditions, he created his signature Dancehall Trap sound, combining Jamaican rhythm, streetwise lyricism, and contemporary production. Through his independent label, TSR Records, Rally Bop has released projects including Imported (2017), Shotta Life and Dancehall Trap The Album (2021), and the ten-track Patience (2023), showcasing his versatility, production skills, and commitment to creative independence. With musical influences connecting Jamaica, New York, and Atlanta, Rally Bop continues building a catalog rooted in cultural heritage, personal experience, and artistic freedom.
